Dr. Weisman graduated from the University of Michigan Honors College with Distinction and Honor in 1978. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982. He completed his transitional internship at the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh followed by his ophthalmology residency at the Eye and Ear Hospital of Pittsburgh. He stayed on to complete a fellowship in glaucoma. Dr. Weisman also taught in the residency program at the University of Pittsburgh during and following his fellowship. He began his career at Worcester Ophthalmology Associates in 1987 and became certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1988. He also served as the Chief of Ophthalmology at Worcester Memorial Hospital. He has staff privileges at Saint Vincent's Hospital and the University of Massachusetts. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the New England Ophthalmology Society, the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Worcester District Medical Society. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Weisman practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology with emphasis on glaucoma, cataracts and eye health maintenance.
